PROCESS MAGAZINE
Process Magazine focuses on showcasing world renowned designers to talk about their inspiration, their personal life, and their process. This interview with New York based writer and illustrator, Maira Kalman, plays off of her whimsical and colorful illustrations often found in her children's books. Through color, texture, and pattern, Process Magazine works to replicate each designer’s unique style and identity throughout their articles.

LAYOUT DESIGN:
Maira Kalman does not shy away from using bold colors and messy brushstrokes, and throughout these spreads each page is designed to replicate her signature style. The color pink shows up often in her work and is used throughout the spreads to connect back to Maira’s playful illustrations.
